Metal is the home of our Emotions, the irrational and unpredictable side of ourselves that can go to unexplained extremes in a moment's notice. It is a double-edged sword that can allow laughter and tears within a blink of an eye.
The power of metal is the expression of maturation. The process of maturation is really best defined as the process of digestion, the digestion process that leads to a more emotionally mature and refined way of life. When we reach a fully mature state we're capable of handling challenges to our life purpose with courage and definition.
Healing is revealing and revealing is healing. When we hide our emotions, we inhibit our own growth. Healing our unprocessed emotions allows us to become emotionally aware and allows the fully evolved expression of our life purpose.
Metal is the power of being in touch with the truest self. It is the well-honed blade that separates things; it gives us the power to choose, to make selections, to recognize when things are working and when they are not. It provides a mirror through which we view our real feelings without deception or delusion. It gives us the courage to change.
Metal: Emotional maturity, order, beauty, discernment, polished, smooth, sharp, shiny, mirror-like, presentation, aesthetics, cleanliness, cooling down from yang to yin
Yin organ: Lungs
