Water... The power of Habit....... (the instincts)

Picture

Deep as the ocean, strong as the tide,
this force cannot be denied... only modified.

Water is creative movement, downward and inward, repetitious, relentless; it contains all potential, teems with life, distills our experiences; it is the holder of will and the reservoir of dreams.

It is the power of repetition that is passed along through the DNA. Generations of life forms, all adding to the code and passing from form to form, create an acquired information field or library through the force of repetition. This is the force of water.

Habit is in our water. Changing the water is the key to healing. If you want to effect a change in the state of something, observe the habits that repeat and are ingrained in the behavior. To improve the state of health, changing the habits will change the person.

In our water also lies our deepest fears. our unspoken and unseen sides that manifest as instinctual reactions. Usually these instincts are a part of our makeup for good reason. However, an occasional update of the habitual behaviors can lead to a more reasonable and refined way of life.

Water: Life force, creativity, calm, gentle, limitless, determined, sensual, cool, extreme yin
Yin organ: Kidney

Yang organ: adrenal glands, bladder
Positive aspects: gentleness, calm, creative, and enthusiastic
Negative aspects: impulsive, fear, paranoia
